Whether you're an experienced actor, improvisor or a complete beginner, you're invited to join us in this fun and pressure-free improvisation class. No prior experience is required, and all language levels are welcome.

Open for everyone who speaks English.

Cologne Workshop
Duration: 2 hours
Price: 15 € per person
Capacity: Max 18 participants
This 2-hour session offers a dynamic group experience where you'll learn, practice and collaborate with up to 16 other participants. Ideal for those looking for an affordable yet comprehensive workshop.

Düsseldorf Workshop
Duration: 2.5 hours (19:00 - 21:30)
Price: 20 € per person
Capacity: Max 12 participants
Want more time to go deeper? The Düsseldorf session offers an extra 30 minutes of focused learning in a smaller group of just 12 participants. Perfect for those looking for a more personalised, intimate experience with plenty of individual attention from the instructor.

Whether you prefer the lively group atmosphere in Cologne or the more personalised, longer session in Düsseldorf, both workshops guarantee a quality experience that will leave you feeling confident and inspired.

Each open improvisation workshop is centred around a unique theme with plenty of room for creativity, play and experimentation.

Our aim is to create a supportive, safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore the basics of improvisation with confidence.

Throughout the workshops we'll dive into a variety of topics, including:

Dynamic and fun games
Character development
The art of accepting and building narrative
Scene initiation
Storytelling techniques
Breaking through mental barriers
Short form games
Free improvisation and more.

No two sessions are the same, which makes for a fresh and exciting experience every time.

Afterwards, we often stay together to socialise. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks if you'd like to join in!

Workshop Details:
- Single Session Cologne: 15 € (max 16 particpants) - Duration: 2 hours

- Single session Düsseldorf 20 € (max 12 participants) - Duration: 2,5 hours

Regular participants have the option to pay at the workshop using either card or cash by requesting a reservation. Newcomers can choose to book and pay online or opt for a wire transfer, paying in advance after requesting a reservation.

The Green Room: finding the venue may be a bit challenging, as Google Maps may not offer precise directions. The most dependable way to access the Courtyard of the Clouth 104 building is through the Niehlerstrasse entrance (as indicated in the image below). Once you're inside the courtyard, please keep an eye out for entrance "D" on the right-hand side.

For navigation on Google Maps, search for "Niehler Str. 101." You'll find the entrance to the Clouth 104 building's courtyard on the opposite side of the street. The official address is CLOUTH 104 | Niehler Str 104 Cologne , 2nd / upper floor Entrance "D."

If you're coming by car, there's a parking lot directly under the clouth 104 building (Entrance Seekabel Str.2). You can also mostly find a free parking spot at the Seekabel Strasse or the streets around the cloud 104 building.

Alte Wursterei: The venue is located in the backyard of an apartment building with private residences and a daycare.

Indoor Area:
Street shoes are not allowed on the dance floor (workshop area), and eating or drinking in that area is not allowed.
Please bring indoor shoes, socks, or ballet shoes for inside.

The outdoor area is the covered rear section with seating, designated for breaks, smoking, waiting, and, if necessary, eating and drinking.

Be mindful of noise levels in the yard. When arriving or leaving, please cross the front yard quickly and quietly.
