SPACE BETWEEN – Improv Workshop with Daniel Orrantia

Düsseldorf · Saturday, November 14, 2026 · 11:00 AM–5:00 PM

Daniel Orrantia already wowed our participants back in 2023 with his workshops on using Playfulness and Composition/Space, – now he’s returning to Düsseldorf, this time with SPACE BETWEEN.

In this workshop, space itself becomes the storyteller. You’ll discover how location and environment shape stories and relationships on stage – and how individual scenes slowly build into a cohesive narrative.

At the heart of it all: what invisible connections form between characters and the space they share? You’ll explore storytelling structure and poetic action, along with the techniques of shelving and endowment, to experience how small choices create powerful stories.

The workshop is led by Daniel Orrantia, Colombian improv artist and Artistic Director of PICNIC Theatre Company.
